Latitude: Visual word. Related to the horizontal lines of the grid system used to map out the Earth.
Eclectic: Word picked mainly for its repetitive sound when spoken. Comes from Greek Eklektikos. Means deriving a taste or style from a wide range of sources. SImilar typeface "families" have been used which does not portray diversity, which is imperative to make the design work as there is a conflict between visual and meaning.
Silhouette: originally used as a derogatory term to insult someone. Silhouette I have found a very sticky word to design for as there are many different places where they have been used. To make it work in a typographical visual has proved difficult. All 3 still in progress.
3 Little Card Project : in development
Eclectic: Historical word derived from Greek Eklektikos. Means deriving a taste or
style from a wide range of sources. Similar typeface "families" have been used which
does not portray diversity needed to make the card work.
